Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Rack N' Action participates in affiliate-marketing programs run by pool-equipment retailers, including (but not limited to) PoolDawg and Amazon Associates. These programs let us link to gear we'd recommend anyway, and earn a small commission when a player buys through one of our links.
What this means for you
When you click a link on this site that goes to an outside retailer (a cue, case, chalk, jump cue, or any other product), it may be an affiliate link. If you purchase the item, we earn a referral commission. You pay nothing extra. The retailer's price is the same whether you arrive via our link or go to their site directly.
How we pick what to feature
We feature gear because we use it, our staff or featured pros use it, or it's widely respected in the pool community. Commission rates do not influence what we recommend. If a higher-paying retailer carries a worse product, we don't link it.
Where you'll see affiliate links
- Player profile “Plays with” sections
- Tournament page “Official Equipment” callouts
- Match-recap, blog, and newsletter spotlights
- Featured-equipment strips on home and venue pages
Each affiliate link is tagged with a tracking parameter so we (and the retailer) can see which surface the click came from. Tags are click-attribution only; they don't carry any personally identifiable information.
FTC compliance
This page exists to satisfy the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides requirement that material connections between an endorser and an advertiser be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. Each affiliate-link surface on the site also carries a spot-disclosure (typically a footer line that says “some links are affiliate links”) so you don't have to dig for this page to know what's going on.
